Joy and Tim of Faerhaven make all-natural soaps, in small batches, the old-fashioned way, ensuring freshness and eliminating the need for chemical preservatives. There are no added chemicals to be absorbed by your skin (the largest organ of your body) or to be washed down the drain into our rivers and lakes.  Faerhaven soaps are very moisturizing and leave your skin feeling creamy smooth, with less need for applying moisturizers. Many of the soaps are enhanced with their own organic, home-grown herbs and flowers.  The colours and fragrances of the natural world soothe the soul and awaken forgotten memories and ancient wisdom. You will enjoy bathing with these pure and natural soaps.

The base soap is created with natural olive, coconut and palm oils. Other exquisite oils are then added to each batch enhancing the soaps with their particular properties. Faerhaven soaps contain glycerin, which is naturally occurring in the  soap making process. In industrial soap making, this glycerin is usually removed for use in more expensive skin care products, such as moisturizers and so those soaps can be very drying to the skin.

Faerhaven’s Solid Hand Lotion is a unique blend of cocoa butter, shea butter, apricot kernel oil and beeswax.  This creates a long-lasting barrier on your skin to protect you from chapping and dryness that can result from exposure to cold, dry winter air, frequent hand-washings, chemicals, or gardening. It heals and protects you from painful splits and cracks in fingers or heels. This hand lotion is also great for diabetics, who must take special care of their feet. It is an amazing product. The protective coating on your skin lasts longer than regular hand cream. No need to reapply every time you wash your hands. Try it on your feet and elbows. It is wonderful for gardeners too.
