How Fortunate We Are!

The county is bustling with people. Families in the park, sidewalk sales, BBQs with family and friends, winery touring, and people just enjoying being outside. This is definitely my favourite time of year.  

This year, more so than ever, I sense a movement on the rise in our region - a good one!  People are becoming more aware and proud of the greatness this region has to offer.  It may not be whatever place in the world you connect with as ‘the best’ for you, but it is what it is, and its awesome!  Sometimes we forget to be thankful for our weather, our lakes, our farmers, musicians, artists, and our people.  

Working for County Connect, I have the good fortunate to tell people about the greatness we have as it relates to farming, food, wine, culinary and tourism - all of life’s great pleasures (minus maybe one:)!  And now, at our first harvest moon, I am lovin’ fresh summer foods and I’m hoping you are too.
